As a general rule, it is recommended that you fertilize 3-4 times a year (Easter, Memorial Day, Labor Day, and Halloween).
You may also choose to fertilize your lawn twice in the spring and the fall.
ScienTurfic Sod recommends the cyclone or rotary lawn fertilizer spreader. It will apply the granules more evenly, which avoids the dark green and yellow stripes that often happens with a drop type spreader.
After you fertilize your lawn, make sure to sweep your walkways and water thoroughly.
